Poco Rubane

The Poco Rubane series is a record of a short stay in two West African countries - Guinea-Bissau and Gambia. On the one hand, it is an attempt to add a very personal dimension, a kind of individual filter to the observation of ordinary, everyday things. On the other hand, photographing through a screen allowed one to remain invisible and non-interfering the watched scene. It allows reality to be transformed, but does not double it, it remains direct and eyewitness.

Backyard

Our view of the world often overlooks what we consider to be constant and unchanging, but in reality everything is in constant flux. The Backyard project aims to remind us of the fragile balance and transience of the moment, capturing the beauty and changeability of objects and nature. The transitions from one season to the next, the changing light and destruction of the inhabitants' discarded belongings, hidden details and subtle changes create magical landscapes that become a visual testimony of nature in constant motion.

"Backyard" is a record of an ongoing project from the beginning of 2023 to observe and document the transformations taking place in one of Warsaw's backyards.

The series received an honorable mention in the debut category of the Warsaw Night of Photography in 2023 and one of the photos in September 2023 was included in an exhibition entitled "Uchi Soto" at the Contemporary of Photography-Art (COPA) in Bangkok.
