Aura (2021-2022)

An aura is a perceptual disturbance experienced by some with epilepsy or migraine.

My photography shows visual disturbances I experienced during the attacks.

Cross/Cemetery series (2015 - now)

"We started shooting in 2015. Our house is close to three cemeteries: the Soviet Military, the Old Polish and the Old Jewish. We used to walk around there often and decided to document the most interesting monuments. That's how the whole series was created" Cross Series and Cemetery Series are two combined projects that explore the funerary monuments around a specific area of Ukraine.

Part of this series is established by non-cemeteries crosses that Wasted Carnaval found near roads, at fields and hills. All of these crosses surprised them as a child after trips that they had to meet their relatives on the west of Ukraine. During these trips, they discovered that people can find the most amount of crosses in comparison to the rest of the country. After that, Wasted Carnaval began to pay attention to the crosses in the most unexpected places.

Patrick

All winter I worked in a kibbutz in Israel at a kosher sauce factory. I worked with Patrick and decided to make a series about him.

Patrick - 64 years old, French Jew, came to Israel from Paris, religious and observes kashrut.

Period (2023)

Artistic documentation of the menstrual process.

Unseen (2018 - 2021)

My boyfriend and I traveled on bicycles to various wild, deserted places in Ukraine, took pictures there. Always in these places there was a mystical mood, a little fear and some otherworldly presence was felt. Later, we decided to reproduce this "presence" on photos.
