black(out)mirror (2022-2023)

This project is an attempt at self-exploration through the prism of the historical circumstances that developed during the blackouts of the full-scale invasion. The photographs included in it are simultaneously a record of internal states, emotions, experiences and external circumstances. It shows and speaks about environment through the internal. They also carry symbols that are intended to show hope, the victory of light over darkness.

history of (one) disease (2022 - ongoing)

This project was started as an attempt to comprehend the severe course of the author's illness, but in the process, it has been expanded beyond this topic.

The project talks about illness as a thing that has two faces. The first is divine, it is feared, temples are created for it in the form of hospitals and icons in the form of X-rays, it is studied and feared. The second is ontological: when it happens to a person, their entire world, the world of their friends and family, literally begins to build around the disease as if nothing else existed before; when it passes, changes in both body and consciousness remain.

In a broader sense, the project explores what can be called an illness, is it just a runny nose and a cough, or is life itself an illness?
