Figures on Light

“Figures on Light” is a thought-provoking photo project that explores the depths of human relationships and the intrinsic “light” within each individual.

The project's narrative is centered on the notion that every person possesses an innate source of light, a metaphorical representation of their unique qualities, emotions, and experiences. Through the use of MiDaS computer vision technology, the photographs reveal the subjects as ethereal, luminous figures, drawing attention to the contrast between their physical form and the intangible aspects of their being.

The project also raises important questions about the role of technology in our lives and how it can shape our perception of human interaction. By harnessing the power of computer vision technology to create the series, the project invites viewers to consider the potential for technology to both illuminate and obscure the essence of humanity.

Looking for a Person

The project is a thought-provoking examination of the intersection between humanity and artificial intelligence. Through the use of computer vision and a blend of AI and vintage technologies, such as analogue photography, it delves into how machines perceive and interpret the human form. The project not only looks at the current role of AI in society, but also considers the potential impact it may have on our self-perception and our place in the world as we move forward into the future. It invites us to consider the path we are taking as a society with AI as a growing presence and influence.

The Fade in Time

“The Fade in Time” is an introspective and heartfelt project that delves into the human experience of love, loss, and the passage of time.

This short story consists of six photographs that explore the journey of returning to childhood's home, where happiness once resided, to bring author’s beloved grandmother to the hospital. Captured in a cold color scheme, the photographs convey the melancholic essence of the experience, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the narrative.

The Foundation

The project aims to pay homage to the foundations of our modern culture, religion, philosophy, and way of life, acknowledging the pivotal role antiquity plays in shaping our collective identity. It serves as a visual reminder of the importance of our historical roots and encourages individuals to embrace the achievements of the past as a basis for personal growth and development.
