Savka

Born in 1994 in Pokrov, Dnipro region, Ukraine. His real name is Oleksandr Savchuk, he lives and works in Kyiv.

In 2016 he graduated from the Kyiv University of Culture with a degree in Design. Since 2015, he has been working as a graphic designer, illustrator, freelancer and collaborating with musicians; Max Barskih, Artem Pivovarov, Sergey Babkin, NK, Antitela, Kadebostany, etc.

Collaboration with brands: L'Officiel Hommes UA, Playboy Mexico, Schon Switzerland, Poustovit, THEO, Tattoosweaters, XXL Ukraine, KNACK magazine (Belgium), Kyiv TSUM, etc.

In 2023, he studied at the MYPH school of conceptual and art photography. Thanks to MYPH, my works were presented in several group exhibitions in Ukraine.

My goal is to introduce you to my worldview through symbolism and surreal images using visual language. Smooth lines, geometry, technology and natural forms are an integral part of the inspiration in my work.

Rituals (2021)

It is a study of one's inner state with all the shades of light and shadow of the soul through self-portraits. Personal experience, search for inspiration and renewal through unity with nature.

"Rituals" invites the viewer to a journey into a world where nature and human existence merge into one. The self-portraits recreate moments that resemble rituals that have symbolic meaning or reflect the author's specific cultural and emotional states. The nude body symbolizes strength, vulnerability, sexuality and other aspects of human nature.

The use of computer graphics adds a magical and mystical element. Lighting effects, textures and detailing create depth, atmosphere and a sense of presence to each work.

Each work in the "Rituals" series is able to transport the viewer into a world of transformation and spiritual rebirth. This series inspires reflection on the meaning of a person in the modern world and reminds us of the importance of maintaining a connection with nature
