The opening of the exhibition "And there will be silence..." at the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Center.
On May 27, the exhibition opened, and on the 28th, there was an Artist Talk with Sergey Melnitchenko, the founder of the School, and Artem Humilevskyi, a graduate and active member of the MYPH collective. During the meeting, visitors learned about the main ideas of the works of 23 authors included in the exhibition. In addition, Artem Humilevskyi presented two original prints from the "Giant" series.
Sergey Melnitchenko talked about the successes of the School, which was celebrating its 5th anniversary at that time. He mentioned more than 250 graduates whose works are exhibited worldwide, its community, and the impressive roster of school teachers. Artem Humilevskyi shared his personal journey in conceptual photography, including the story of creating his most successful series during the COVID times, which has garnered numerous international awards.
